Creativity, Connection, & Community.
The Paintbrush Collective is focused on supporting women in the arts in Jackson Hole and beyond. TPC was born out of a hunger; a desire for more art, deeper connection, and meaningful community. When two friends realized they shared this yearning, they thought they may not be alone. Rooted in a passion for the arts and creative life in Jackson Hole, our goal is to create a space to gather, celebrate, and support women’s voices in the visual arts.
Our mission is to foster a vibrant community rooted in a shared love of the visual arts, with a focus on celebrating women and their vital and varied roles in the arts. We aim to be a wellspring of creativity, connection, and shared experiences—honoring the unique spirit of the Jackson Hole arts community while building meaningful bridges to the broader art world.
Who We Are
Sarah Fischel and Elle Czura met through mutual friends in Jackson Hole and quickly bonded over their shared experiences in the art world. Working across different institutions, genres, and cities – more of their stories overlapped than diverged, many of which were born specifically of being women in the art space.
Endless conversations and searches for unified, local art programming hatched an idea to create a community and space for women in the art world to gather and connect, and thus The Paintbrush Collective was born.
Indian Paintbrush is the state flower of our adopted home, the first state to grant women the right to vote, a symbol of beauty and creativity.
